On Wednesday 24th October, we were delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Sir John Chilcot GCB PC (Chairman, The Iraq Inquiry 2009-2016; Permanent Under-Secretary of State, Northern Ireland Office 1990-1997; and GSF Advisory Board member) to open our special series of events to enlarge on the concept of ‘Global Britain’, to look beyond the rhetoric and to unpack what it really means. His lecture was entitled ”Global Britain’: The Implications For Foreign Policy?’, and was chaired by Lord Lothian PC QC DL.
