On Thursday 19th June, Sir Tony Brenton KCMG, British Ambassador to Russia (2004-2008); Robert Brinkley CMG, British Ambassador to Ukraine (2002-2006) and Sir Gerald Howarth MP, Minister for International Security Strategy at the Ministry of Defence (2010-2012) spoke at the National Liberal Club in a lively and vigorous debate entitled ‘The Ukraine/Russia Crisis: Whatever Happened To Western Strategy?’, which was chaired by Lord Lothian.
