On Wednesday 16th November, one week after Donald Trump’s unexpected victory in the US presidential election, we had great pleasure in welcoming Sir Peter Westmacott, British Ambassador to the United States from January 2012 until he retired from the UK Diplomatic Service in January 2016, to GSF.  He gave a highly timely and incisive lecture entitled ‘After The 2016 Election: The International Challenges For The New US President?’, which was chaired by GSF Chairman Lord Lothian.
