GSF/British Council publication launch: ‘The Value Of Dialogue In Times Of Hostility And Insecurity’

IMG_2693Global Strategy Forum and the British Council were delighted to launch a new co-publication: ‘The Value Of Dialogue In Times Of Hostility And Insecurity’. This collection of essays and personal reflections was launched at a GSF lunchtime event at the National Liberal Club on Tuesday 15th March 2016

A number of contributors to the publication spoke on a panel to launch the publication, including Dr Scilla Elworthy, Peace activist, Founder of the Oxford Research Group and Peace Direct; three times Nobel Peace Prize nominee; Professor Rosemary Hollis, Professor of Middle East Policy Studies and Director of the Olive Tree Scholarship Programme, City University; Rt Hon the Lord Howell of Guildford, Minister of State, Foreign & Commonwealth Office (2010-2012); Chair, House of Lords Select Committee on Soft Power; Dr James Ker-Lindsay, Senior Research Fellow, European Institute, London School of Economics; and Oliver McTernan, Director and Co-Founder, Forward Thinking.

It was co-chaired by Sir Ciarán Devane, Chief Executive of the British Council and Lord Lothian, Chairman of Global Strategy Forum.
