On Tuesday 10th June, we were honoured to welcome to GSF HRH Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom. He discussed ‘Conflict & Change: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Policy In The New Global Order’ in an event chaired by GSF Advisory Board member, Foreign Secretary (1995-1997) and Defence Secretary (1992-1995), the Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind KC.

HRH Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud graduated from Oxford University with a BA in the Oriental Studies degree in Islamic Civilization and he then attended the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He attended Sandhurst Military Academy and graduated as a commissioned officer. He commenced his career at the United Nations department of Political Affairs in New York in 2001. Subsequently he became an advisor to the Saudi Ambassador to the United States for three years. In June 2017, he became the Saudi Ambassador to Germany and in July 2019, he became Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom. In 2006, he established Dayim Holdings as an investment and operating platform to create local and international companies in the Kingdom and Gulf states.
