On Tuesday 26th January, for our first event of 2016, we were very pleased to have the opportunity to welcome to GSF, Dr Hisham Hellyer, Senior Fellow (non-resident) at the Rafik Hariri Centre for the Middle East at the Atlantic Council, and Associate Fellow in International Security Studies at RUSI; Sir Gerald Howarth MP, Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Egypt; and James Watt CVO, UK Ambassador to Egypt (2011-2014). They spoke in a discussion entitled ‘Egypt – Five Years After Tahrir Square: What Next?’, which was chaired by Lord Lothian.
