Our final lunchtime event of our 2016-2017 series took place on Tuesday 18th July.  We were delighted to welcome to GSF three highly distinguished and expert members of the House of Lords Select Committee on International Relations. To a packed David Lloyd George Room in the National Liberal Club, the Chairman, the Rt Hon Lord Howell of Guildford, Lord Hannay of Chiswick GCMG CH and Baroness Helić presented and discussed the conclusions of the Committee’s second report, ‘The Middle East: Time For New Realism’.  The event was chaired by Lord Lothian.
