We were delighted to welcome to GSF Sir Simon Mayall KBE CB, Defence Senior Advisor for the Middle East (2011-2014); and Prime Minister’s Security Envoy to Iraq (2014-2015). Before a packed audience at the National Liberal Club, he gave a lecture entitled ‘The Middle East: A Region In Flux In A World In Flux’, which was chaired by Mr James Watt CVO.
