Johan Eliasch, President of Global Strategy Forum, and the Rt Hon Frank Field MP
Johan Eliasch is the Prime Minister's Special Representative on Deforestation and Clean Energy, a position to which he was appointed in September 2007. In October 2008, he published the Eliasch Review, ‘Climate Change: Financing Global Forests’, which was commissioned by the Prime Minister. Born in Sweden, Johan is Chairman of the Management Boar of Head N.V., the global sporting goods group. He is a board member of the Centre for Social Justice, a member of the Advisory Boards of Brasilinvest, Societé du Louvre and the British Olympic Association. He is Chairman of Starr Underwriting Agents, Co-Chairman of Cool Earth, a Patron of Stockholm University and President of Global Strategy Forum.
