Writing for the Globe and Mail on Friday 23rd September on the intractable issues surrounding the bid at the UN for Palestinian statehood, GSF Advisory Board member, HRH Prince El Hassan of Jordan asks if ‘a seat at the table is too much for ask for Palestine’?.  He concludes that, ‘finally, it should be remembered that, whatever happens at the UN, the occupied territories will still be occupied, settlement building will continue, peace will remain uncertain, and the status of Jerusalem will remain in question. It’s within this context that a seat at the UN table is seen as too much to ask for.’
